Richard R. Duzenbury passed away February 28, 2010, at the age of 76.

Richard was a custodian for the Gunnisonville School for thirty years, and was loved by all the children. He was an avid golfer, scoring three holes-in-one. He served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army 82^nd Airborne Division.

Surviving are his wife, Marlene Duzenbury; stepchildren, Kim K. (Angela) Thompson and Heidi Ann Thompson; grandchildren, Ming, Meredith, and Konrad Thompson; sister, Esther West; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with Pastor Paul J. Lindloff officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Staff of Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
